Chris Harmon is a young filmmaker from Monroe, La. where he first learned about telling the right stories. Chris found a liking to filming music and began his journey into professional filmmaking.

Chris always had a desire to tell stories and make them dramatic, funny, sad, exciting and entertaining! Chris first had the opportunity to use a camera during his time on the basketball team.

In 2003, Chris filmed all of the varsity games because he was too “small” to play with the other guys. Chris enjoyed creating shots and effects with the camera. At that point, Chris knew he wanted to be a filmmaker.

Chris then graduated high school and attended Grambling State University under the Mass Communication program where he worked on several short films, sports, music videos, and other video projects.

After college, Chris attempted to go to film school. Sadly, Chris was declined from six of the schools that he applied for.

Chris then moved to Dallas, Tex. to get a fresh start on things where he had the opportunity to work with several filmmakers. Learning from independent filmmakers taught Chris everything he needed to know about videos, commercials and wedding videos. After years of learning and perfecting his craft, Chris opened up his own company called Harmland Visions, LLC.

Harmland Visions LLC is an entertainment company that offers bundles for Photography, Videography, DJ, Lighting and Photo Booth services. Chris trained several videographers on how to become filmmakers and assist with making Harmland Visions a successful brand.

Here we are now, today as we introduce to you a newer company and the premiere filmmaking company in which Chris is exclusive too, Chris Harmon Film. Chris Harmon Film is dedicated to creating those dramatic stories that Chris always wanted to tell in the form of a Wedding Video, Corporate Video, Music Video, or a Short Film.

Chris invests a lot into making sure your video production is produced with the top of the line camera equipment and you are able to watch your film on all platforms!

John is from Monroe, Louisiana and loves the mass of opportunities that Dallas has to offer.

Charismatic and witty, John is also an Air Force veteran.  His broad logistics background includes client-business relations, training & development, and liasoning with high ranking officials.

John loves events because he loves to see a plan come together.  His military background has taught him the importance of teamwork.  One of his favorite quotes is "A chain is only as strong as its weakest link".  He loves being part of something bigger and knows the value every team member has. 

His knack for relationship building mixed with his logistics experience has made him a natural in the events industry.

John is a sports fanatic.  Football and basketball specifically.  He spends much of his time listening to podcasts, watching sports, and at the gym.

Fun fact about John is he is a great cook.  Of course he tries to remain modest, but he was raised in Louisiana and spent a lot of time with his Grandmother, who taught him.

Josh loves to be around people, and he also loves to serve others and work hard. He loves to get to be a part of the experience.

He wanted a job that wouldn't really be a job, because he wanted to actually like the work he was doing. And a job that wasn't like an assembly line. And in events, he found his calling.

Josh has over 15 years of experience in successful corporate and private events. He has over 10 years in proffesional video production and lighting. He also has over 20 years of customer service SME.

In his spare time, he likes playing with RC cars, boats, submarines, drones and anything else he can control with a hand held device. Josh also tries and spend as much time as he can with family and movies.

Josh was born in New Mexico, but raised in North Texas. He likes Dallas because "we have a mic in this city. Literally in the skyline."

Corey is from Shreveport Louisiana, but loves the scenery in Dallas.

Corey has a background in music, being in the marching band for 10+ years.

What got Corey into the industry was a friend introducing him to this side. Coming from filming parties and music videos, the wedding industry gives him a chance to use his creative vision to tell stories of there wedding day. Then, we still get to party after, and it’s the best of both worlds.

One of the reasons I love weddings events whether I am behind the camera, DJ booth or controlling the lights and effects, it gives him the opportunity to be creative and make memorable moments that the couples will never forget.

In his free time, Corey enjoys playing video games online with friends, going to the shooting range, and detailing vehicles, as he does have his own mobile detailing business.

Fun fact about Corey is that he performed at President Obama’s 1st inauguration, as well as with Shakira at the 2010 NBA Allstar Game.
